Our Doctors

meet dr. vu

owner, dry eye specialist, ocular disease, myopia Management

Dr. My-Hanh Vu is an Ohio native and received her doctorate degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Vu started her career in the East Coast during her training at OMNI Eye, a surgical center that treats end-stage eye conditions. At OMNI, she developed a vested interest in ocular pathology. She expanded her knowledge of ocular disease at the VA hospital and the ophthalmology department at Case Western. These experiences have shaped Dr. Vu’s dedication to early recognition and prevention of ocular diseases through annual eye exams. In 2014, Dr. Vu became the practice owner of Herald Square Eyecare in NYC, where she integrated her extensive clinical experience with exceptional patient care. She moved to the Bay Area in 2022.

Dr. Vu is dedicated to staying on the forefront of contact lens technology, dry eye management and is passionate about patient education. Dr. Vu is a dry eye specialist, managing complicated dry eye disease, including the latest technology in IPL, LLLT and MeiboFlo. She is certified to fit MiSight, Euclid Max ortho-K contact lenses, Paragon CRT and specialty contact lenses, including keratoconus and multifocal contacts.

Dr. Vu strongly believes in giving back to the community both locally and internationally. She conducts eye exams for underprivileged communities, mentors small business owners, serves as a refugee accompaniment volunteer, and is a suicide prevention crisis counselor. When not working she enjoys traveling for food, exploring architectural treasures, hiking, painting, and spending time with her husband and newborn.

meet dr. lam

therapeutic optometrist, dry eye specialist

Dr. Joy Lam, a Houston native, earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a Biology minor from The University of Texas at Austin. Her passion for patient care flourished while working alongside optometrists during college. She later earned a Doctorate in Optometry, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

Her personal experience with PRK sparked a special interest in refractive surgery such as LASIK. Dr. Lam's dedication also extends to managing conditions such as dry eyes with intense pulsed light therapy (IPL) and TearCare, specialty multifocal contact lenses, and myopia control for children, supported by her certifications for MiSight and Orthokeratology lenses (CRT).

Outside the realm of optometry, Dr. Lam derives joy from culinary exploration, hiking, yoga, and creating treasured travel memories with her husband and two sons, aged 5 and 2. With her holistic approach to patient care, she embodies a commitment to delivering comprehensive and personalized solutions for every patient.


Meet Dr. Le

OPTOMETRIST: PRIMARY CARE, OCULAR DISEASE

Dr. TiTi Le grew up in San Jose, CA, and has spent the majority of her life in the Bay Area. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from UC Berkeley and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry.

Dr. Le is a therapeutically licensed optometrist, trained to practice full-scope optometry, including prescribing glasses and contacts, and managing ocular diseases, dry eyes, and myopia. While she enjoyed her time in Southern California and Arizona during optometry school, she always knew that the Bay Area had her heart.

In her free time, Dr. Le loves exploring new restaurants and cafes. As a self-proclaimed foodie, she’s always open to recommendations for great places to eat—or happy to share her own favorites! Dr. Le also enjoys traveling, cooking, drinking boba, and creating digital art.


meet dr. MANIK

optometrist, Ocular disease

Dr. Manik graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Neurobiology and UC Berkeley with a Doctor of Optometry degree. She completed her optometric residency in ocular disease and neuro-optometry at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System.

Dr. Manik spent a decade providing medical and general eye care to the Peninsula community and now spends most of her week providing care to underserved communities in East Palo Alto area.

She is passionate about patient education and welcomes questions! She also speaks Punjabi and medical Spanish.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, reading, and making tasty bean and lentil recipes.
